Gypsum board with fiberglass - coated facing tissue is a material used in gypsum board facing layers for waterproofing, fire - resistance, mildew - prevention and sound - insulation. It bonds tightly with the gypsum core, resulting in excellent flexural strength, compressive strength and crack resistance in the finished product. This type of gypsum board is widely used in the construction industry. It's suitable for various applications like interior partitions, exterior and interior wall coverings, ceilings, soundproof panels, decorative panels in residential buildings (e.g., exterior walls), offices, basements, garages, elevator shafts, kitchens and bathrooms. Besides, it has good UV resistance, fire resistance, water resistance and durability. It doesn't mildew, wrinkle or crack, making it an energy - efficient and environmentally friendly new - type building material.
